Advice
Note to children's video producers: When making an educational video for young children about learning to use the potty that families can check out of the local public library, do not include as a tangential part of the story A SCARY BIRTHDAY-PARTY CLOWN WHO DOES SILLY DANCES AND APPEARS ODD AND CREEPY. Just don't.

Oh my God. Tell me which one that is so I don't get it!!
It's the Duke (as in the University! You'd think they'd know better!) Family Series, "It's Potty Time." There's a man dressed up as a clown. Julia DID NOT LIKE HIM.
Not good!
We're not quite ready for such talk, but I've heard really great things about Potty Power (DVD). I've heard its so annoying for adults that you won't be able to stand it, but that kids absolutely adore it--and it works.
I will have to try to find that one!
